At our HCA Florida Healthcare Patient Transfer Center, our goal is to ensure all patients receive the right level of care when time is critical.

• Calls answered seven days a week, 24 hours a day to handle emergency transfers, direct admissions, consults or transport needs.
• All calls handled by experienced professionals, including registered nurses with critical care or emergency experience
• Appropriate consulting/accepting physicians are secured on your behalf for your patients, saving you valuable time
• Encompasses transfers for all medical specialties including cardiology, neurology and stroke, burns, labor and delivery as well as pediatrics
• Provides access to the HCA Florida Healthcare network of hospitals adhering to high quality standards

Additional services provided to enhance the service and referral process:

• Manage logistics for a smooth patient transfer
• Assure follow up communication
• Coordinate prompt hospital bed assignment
• Facilitate communication between facilities for nursing report
• Coordination of Medical Transport Services including Air or Ambulance transport
• All calls are recorded for quality assurance, process improvement, education, or follow-up
