Advanced colorectal oncology services
We offer transanal endoscopic microsurgery (TEM), an incision-free colorectal cancer procedure. Your doctor may recommend this surgery if you are in the early stages of rectal cancer. It is also used to eliminate polyps that cannot be removed with a colonoscopy.
Traditionally, colorectal surgery is performed through a six-inch incision in the abdomen that requires a week or more of recovery time. With TEM, patients report feeling little to no pain and are typically discharged from the hospital a day after the procedure.
We offer a lymphedema program through the Kohly Center for Outpatient Rehabilitation. As a member of the National Lymphedema Network, you can trust our staff to provide treatment and therapy tailored to your needs. Services we offer include complex decongestive therapy (CDT), physical therapy and post-lymphedema management.
