Stephanie Zenk
Stephanie Zenk, 31, is an Air Force spouse, Registered Nurse , and mother of three beautiful children, Jack, Nora, and Henry. The Zenks moved to the local Fort Walton Beach area from Sheppard Air Force Base in the fall of 2014. At the time, she was approximately seven months pregnant with her first child. "It was so nerve-racking to move here in the middle of my first pregnancy", she said. "I went on word of mouth and recommendations and decided to use Dr. Michael Hennessey here at FWBMC."
Stephanie experienced unexpected bleeding complications with her first delivery, "Dr. Hennessey and the hospital staff were quick to respond to my changing needs', she said. "My initial experience here at the facility, physician, and staff are what made me excited to deliver my second and third child at FWBMC."
Jane Bradley is the Director over Women's and Children's Services, "Women's and Children's Services is dedicated to providing the best standards of care for patients delivering at Fort Walton-Destin Hospital. The labor room provides family-centered care, therefore the family is involved as much as possible. Patients are cared for before, during and after delivery and the dedicated team of nurses and doctors are committed to providing excellent quality care and customer service. We are committed to providing evidence-based practice along with continued education for patients and families utilizing new technology, processes, and initiatives to keep our families safe and improve the overall patient experience."
Women's services at Fort Walton-Destin Hospital offers many services to ensure your health, as well as your baby's health.
