Spine care

Spine doctors, who can be orthopedists or neurosurgeons, diagnose and treat problems linked to your spine. They can help with neck and back pain as well as injuries, trauma and diseases related to the spine. You may need to see a spine specialist if you have a herniated disk, nerve damage, sciatica or chronic back pain.

Spine treatments we offer

When medication and physical therapy are not effective in treating your spine condition, your doctor may recommend spine surgery.

Spinal surgery

We offer various spine surgeries through our orthopedic program. These procedures treat conditions affecting the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine.

Our spine surgeons use traditional and minimally invasive techniques to perform:

  • Anterior cervical fusion
  • Discectomy
  • Epidural steroid injections
  • Kyphoplasty
  • Laminectomy
  • Lumbar discectomy
  • Minimally invasive spinal fusion
  • Spinal cord stimulation
  • Spinal stabilization

Spine surgery class

At our hospital, spine surgery begins with preoperative education. Once you are scheduled for your procedure, you may sign up for our spine surgery class. This interactive class will provide you with valuable information about surgery, discharge planning and recovery. You will also have a chance to ask questions about your upcoming procedure.

Spine surgery classes take place in the first floor classroom of our hospital. For your convenience, free valet parking is available.

Rehabilitation after spine surgery

We offer physical therapy and rehabilitation to help you successfully heal and recover after your surgery. Our dedicated physical therapy team has extensive experience in rehabilitating patients with spine conditions.
