Tampa, FL HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital kicked off the new year by recently volunteering at Feeding Tampa Bay. Hospital colleagues sorted nearly 15,631 pounds of food that will help bring over 13,095 meals to families across ten counties.

“Through volunteer participation such as this, our colleagues are making an incredible impact on the families served by Feeding Tampa Bay by helping to fight hunger in our community,” said Ned Hill, CEO. “We are grateful for our partners at Feeding Tampa Bay and the opportunity to participate in this rewarding initiative.”

Feeding Tampa Bay, part of the national Feeding America network, focuses on providing food assistance to approximately 1 million food insecure families in the 10-county area of West Central Florida. Last year, they proudly served 87M meals to those in need.
