HCA Florida Largo Hospital supports EmpowHERment Community Center by supporting mental health therapy program
Largo, FL — HCA Florida Largo Hospital proudly announced its commitment to mental health awareness and community support by supporting the EmpowHERment Community Center. The contribution will support the center’s therapy program and its annual HER Brunch Gala, an inspiring event.
In a check presentation ceremony, hospital leaders joined EmpowHERment Community Center leadership and program participants to celebrate the partnership and shared commitment to improving mental health resources for women and families in the community.
“At HCA Florida Largo West Hospital, we believe that mental health is an essential part of overall well-being,” said Daniel Cromwell, Director of Behavioral Health program. “We are honored to support EmpowHERment Community Center’s mission and programs that empower women and provide access to crucial therapy services, especially during Mental Health Awareness Month.”
The funds contributed will help continue the center’s therapy program, which offers individual therapy sessions to address the growing mental health needs in the community. The HER Brunch Gala is an annual signature event that brings together advocates, mental health professionals, and community leaders to break the stigma surrounding mental health and encourage open dialogue.
“We are deeply grateful for HCA Florida Largo Hospital’s partnership and support,” said Ambee Stephens, Founder and Chief Empowerment Officer, EmpowHERment. “Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.”
