HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital hosts virtual men's health event

Providing leading physician experts during this Men's Health Month celebration

Port Charlotte, FL  — In recognition of Men’s Health Month, HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital is proud to present a free virtual event designed to empower men with critical health information and encourage proactive wellness. The event will take place on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 9:00am – 10:00am and feature a panel of leading experts in urology, cardiology and neurosurgery.

Featured Speakers Include:

  • Dr. Marc Melser, Urologist – Discussing prostate health, common urological concerns, and the importance of routine screenings
  • Dr. Garrett Powell, Neurosurgeon – Discussing brain health and potential causes for mental decline in men over the age of 45, warning signs of neurological diseases and latest treatment options.
  • Dr. Harsh Patel, Cardiologist – Offering insights on heart disease prevention, blood pressure management, screenings, and lifestyle tips to maintain a healthy heart

“This is an opportunity for men to take control of their health by learning directly from specialists who understand the unique challenges men face as they age,” said Dr. Marc Melser, urologist at HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital. “Early detection and awareness are key to preventing serious health conditions.”
