Englewood, FL — HCA Florida Englewood Hospital is proud to recognize the extraordinary work and dedication of our colleague recipients of the 2023 Dr. Joseph Anders Annual Awards. The awards were named after the late Dr. Joseph Anders, a physician who served patients for more than four decades.

“Dr. Joseph Anders played a vital role in caring for patients and his community. His personal and professional life reflected the patient-centered and humanitarian values upon which HCA Healthcare was founded. By naming the awards after him, we honor his exemplary service and selflessness. He inspired all of us to live our mission to care for and improve human life.” said Steve Young, chief executive officer.

Award recipients were recognized during a ceremony with colleagues, family and members of Dr. Anders’ family in attendance.
