HCA Florida Englewood Hospital has once again been named “Best of Englewood” for its emergency services by readers of the Daily Sun. The hospital has received this recognition every year since before 2012.

“We are honored to be recognized by our community for more than a decade,” said Kelly Lindsay, chief executive officer at HCA Florida Englewood Hospital. “This award reflects the dedication of our emergency care team and the trust our patients place in us during their most critical moments.”

The hospital’s emergency department is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is staffed by board-certified emergency physicians, physician assistants, nurses and paramedics. For more than 40 years, the hospital has provided fast, high-quality emergency care to the Englewood community.

HCA Florida Healthcare recently expanded its emergency services with the opening of HCA Florida Wellen Park Emergency, a full-service emergency department located at 7070 S. Tamiami Trail in Venice. The new facility enhances access to emergency care for residents of South Venice, North Port and the Wellen Park community — areas the hospital has long served.

Both emergency locations are open 24/7 and offer the same level of expert care and commitment to patient well-being.
