Dr. Acosta is the original founder of the Gulfcoast Institute of OBGYN and has been serving families in the Tampa region for over 23 years. He originally hails from Cuba and lived in New York state where he attended college and medical school. He completed his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Flushing Hospital Medical Center. Soon after with his wife and young family he established himself in St. Petersburg, Florida.
