Richard R. Grimsley, MD

Dr. Grimsley is a graduate of Duke University and the Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at New York University's Langone Medical Center, and furthered his training with an Adult Joint Reconstruction Fellowship at the Arizona Institute for Bone & Joint Disorders. My personal goal is to relieve the discomfort of injury or disease and prevent long-term disability and deformity. To this end, I offer my patients a spectrum of high-quality, value-laden orthopaedic services. These services are provided in a timely manner with compassion, thoroughness, and cost accountability to the patient, the referring physician, and the purchaser of health care. I have received extensive training in the fields of orthopaedic treatment and surgery, having received my medical training at the nationally respected Bellevue Hospital and New York University Medical Centers. I also undertook an additional year of specialized fellowship training with Dr. Anthony Hedley, a world-renowned pioneer in the field of adult reconstruction. I have been in practice in Jacksonville since 1995, and look forward to helping you resolve your orthopaedic problems.
