Dr. Hawthorne earned his medical degree from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri. His postdoctoral training included a Residency in Family Medicine at Southwest Georgia Family Medicine in Albany, where he earned "Intern of the Year" honors and was later named Chief Resident.
