About Joseph K Francis, MD
Biography
Over the past 12 years, Dr. Francis has successfully treated over 10,000 skin cancers with Mohs surgery. He is one of
the few fellowship trained & board-certified Mohs surgeons in Sarasota. He is a firm believer that the Mohs technique
of removing skin cancer provides the highest cure rate with minimal removal of normal surrounding tissue.
Dr. Francis has been published in numerous medical journals, presented multiple dermatology lectures, and has been featured in The New York Time
