Jason A. Collins, MD

Dr. Collins has been practicing in Sarasota County for over 8 years. He has served on the faculty of Florida State University College of Medicine and has helped to provide orthopaedic care for the Atlanta Braves spring training program. Dr. Collins has also served as a sports medicine physician for several area high schools as well as recreational sports leagues.

Dr. Collins focuses on communication with patients as well as a team approach in order to provide the best possible care. He always begins with conservative management if possible, but if necessary, we provide the most current surgical techniques. Dr. Collins specializes in arthroscopic, minimally invasive care. He also routinely performs robotic assisted total knee replacement, computer assisted total shoulder replacement, and anterior approach total hip replacement.
