Dr. Piovesana earned his medical degree in 2008 from University of Milan, Italy, graduating cum laude.
\nHe completed his General Surgery residency at University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas. He then completed his fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Florida, Shands Hospital, Gainesville, Florida.
