Alvaro Castillo, MD

Dr. Castillo is a Board Certified General Surgeon with fellowship training in Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery. Dr. Castillo completed medical school at the Universidad Americana in Managua, Nicaragua and continued on to complete his surgical residency at the University of Miami. While in training at the University of Miami, Dr. Castillo was a member of the Transfusion Committee, Patient Safety Committee, Resident Evaluation Committee and received the prestigious Resident of the Year award
