At HCA Florida Palms West Hospital, our primary goal is to improve the health of our community, and we do this by offering personalized care to each and every person.

Our Outpatient Rehabilitation & Aquatics Center helps us achieve that goal by offering comprehensive therapy services for all ages in Loxahatchee, Florida, and the surrounding communities. Our 5,500-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility offers the latest in wellness equipment, including a heated rehabilitation pool. The rehabilitation center is located on the campus of HCA Palms West Hospital at 12977 Southern Blvd. Suite 101.

Aquatic therapy

Our outpatient aquatic rehabilitation center is one of our most unique outpatient programs. This heated, inground, saltwater indoor rehabilitation pool includes an automated lift for easy access for all patients. Our highly-trained aquatic staff uses specific manual therapy techniques and aquatic exercises to reduce pain, improve function and enhance general conditioning.

Occupational therapy

Occupational therapy assesses a patient's ability to fully participate in activities of daily living. Our occupational therapists address the physical, cognitive and mental challenges accompanying a patient's injury or condition.

Occupational therapy may include:

  • Assessment and treatment of cognitive impairments
  • Energy conservation measures for improved function and endurance
  • Exercises related to activities and function of the upper body
  • Home improvements for safety and increased independence
  • Training to improve self-care, dressing and activities of daily living
  • Upper extremity splinting and bracing

Physical therapy

Pediatric therapy and rehabilitation

The Children’s Therapy Center at HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is the most comprehensive hospital-affiliated pediatric outpatient therapy center in Palm Beach County. Our outpatient center offers a range of therapy services for children 18 years old and younger. Our children's therapists provide orthopedic, neurological, congenital and developmental disorder treatment.
