Some of our residents have gone on to further their education with a PGY2 while others have taken the knowledge they acquired during PGY1 residency to apply it to real-world positions within our hospital and/or other facilities.

Anny Nguyen, PharmD (2024-2025)

Undergraduate School: Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA

Pharmacy School: Thomas Jefferson University College of Pharmacy

Post-Residency: Dr. Nguyen stayed on as a clinical pharmacist at HCA Florida West Hospital with plans to obtain board certification.

Eisha Ludtke, PharmD (2024-2025)

Undergraduate School: University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, CO

Pharmacy School: University of Florida in Gainesville, FL

Post-Residency: Dr. Ludtke stayed within the HCA family where she is working as a clinical pharmacist at HCA Fort-Walton Destin Hospital. She plans to precept students and eventually residents.

Lauren Alaine “Lainey” LaMoyne, PharmD (2024-2025)

Undergraduate School: Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA

Pharmacy School: University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Nashville, TN

Post-Residency: Dr. LaMoyne re-located home to Baton Rouge and plans to take a short hiatus before starting her search for a clinical pharmacist position.

Ted Holmes III, PharmD (2024-2025)

Undergraduate School: Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans, LA

Pharmacy School: Xavier University of Louisiana College of Pharmacy

Post-Residency: Dr. Holmes re-located to Orlando, FL in order to further his education with a PGY2 in Emergency Medicine at AdventHealth Orlando.

Holley Maness, PharmD (2023-2024)

Undergraduate School: University of Arkansas in Fort Smith, AR

Pharmacy School: University of Arkansas in Little Rock, AR

Post-Residency: Dr. Maness stayed on as a clinical pharmacist at HCA Florida West Hospital and is now one of our emergency medicine pharmacists.

Margaret “Meg” Moore, PharmD (2023-2024)

Undergraduate School: University of Mississippi in Oxford, MS

Pharmacy School: University of Mississippi in Jackson, MS

Post-Residency: Dr. Moore re-located to Charleston, SC and has accepted a job as a clinical pharmacist at HCA Trident Medical Center. She plans to obtain board certification and become a preceptor to pharmacy students and residents.

Olivia Zanolli, PharmD (2023-2024)

Undergraduate School: Walsh University in North Canton, OH

Pharmacy School: Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, OH

Post-Residency: Dr. Zanolli re-located to Ohio to pursue a clinical pharmacist role with plans to obtain board certification.

David Massmann, PharmD (2022-2023)

Undergraduate School: Wichita State University in Wichita, KS

Pharmacy School: University of Tennessee in Nashville, TN

Post-Residency: Dr. Massmann stayed on as a clinical pharmacist at HCA Florida West Hospital, then became one of our emergency medicine pharmacists for a couple of years before re-locating to work at another HCA facility in Texas, Medical City Fort Worth Hospital.

Ryan Thornton, PharmD (2022-2023)

Undergraduate School: Pensacola State College in Pensacola, FL

Pharmacy School: University of Florida in Orlando, FL

Post-Residency: Dr. Thornton took a few months off to travel and is now pharmacy manager at Vital Care Infusion Services.

Caitlin Sacco, PharmD (2021-2022)

Undergraduate School: Mississippi State University in Starkville, MS

Pharmacy School: Belmont University in Nashville, TN

Post-Residency: Dr. Sacco stayed on at HCA Florida West Hospital as a clinical pharmacist and precepts student pharmacists and residents.

Gabrielle Arceo, PharmD (2021-2022)

Undergraduate School: University of Mississippi in Oxford, MS

Post-Residency: Dr. Arceo re-located to Austin, Texas to work at Dell Children’s Medical Center and has specialized in hematology/oncology where she serves as a preceptor for pharmacy residents.

Laura Comalander, PharmD (2021-2022)

Undergraduate School: Auburn University in Auburn, AL

Pharmacy School: Auburn University

Post-Residency: Dr. Comalander re-located to Jacksonville, FL where she worked as a clinical pharmacist at HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital before moving back to work in the Pensacola area. Her future plans include obtaining board certification and precepting interns.

Caitlin Ellis, PharmD, BCPS, BCIDP (2020-2021)

Undergraduate School: Auburn University in Auburn, AL

Pharmacy School: Samford University in Birmingham, AL

Post-Residency: Dr. Ellis completed a PGY2 in infectious diseases (ID) at Huntsville Hospital, then came back to work at HCA Florida West Hospital where she is the ID pharmacist precepting student pharmacists and residents.

Devan Rockwell, PharmD, BCACP (2020-2021)

Undergraduate School: University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB)

Pharmacy School: Auburn University in Auburn, AL

Post-Residency: Dr. Rockwell went on to further her education with a PGY2 in ambulatory care at USA Health Physicians Groups in Mobile, AL and is now an assistant professor at USA for Physician Assistant Studies.

Kristen Seaux, PharmD (2019-2020)

Post-Residency: Dr. Seaux re-located to Alexandria, LA where she is a clinical pharmacist at a community hospital.

Meena Manepalli, PharmD (2019-2020)

Undergraduate School: Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL

Pharmacy School: University of Florida in Gainesville, FL

Post-Residency: Dr. Manepalli re-located to southern Florida to work as an oncology staff pharmacist at Baptist Health South Florida for a few years before completing a non-traditional PGY2 residency in oncology at Baptist Health in 2024.

Deven Dunlop, PharmD (2018-2019)

Undergraduate School: Pensacola State College in Pensacola, FL

Pharmacy School: Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, FL

Post-Residency: Dr. Dunlop re-located to California where he is currently a director of pharmacy.

Madeline Tompkinson, PharmD (2018-2019)

Undergraduate School: University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ

Pharmacy School: University of Arizona

Post-Residency: Dr. Tompkinson stayed on as a clinical pharmacist at HCA Florida West Hospital for three years before she re-located to Draper, Utah where she is a clinical pharmacist at HCA Lone Peak Hospital.

Emily Bilas, PharmD, BCPS (2017-2018)

Post-Residency: Dr. Bilas stayed on as a clinical pharmacist at HCA Florida West Hospital where she precepts student pharmacists and residents.

Kristen Martin, PharmD, BCCCP (2017-2018)

Pharmacy School: Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, FL

Post-Residency: Dr. Martin stayed on at HCA Florida West Hospital as a clinical pharmacist for two years before re-locating to HCA Florida North Florida Hospital where she was a critical care pharmacist before becoming the PGY1 pharmacy residency program director in 2025.

Teng Eduardo, PharmD (2016-2017)

Undergraduate School: University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL

Pharmacy School: LECOM in Erie, PA

Post-Residency: Dr. Eduardo moved to central Florida and works as a clinical pharmacist at another HCA facility.

Megan Graham, PharmD, BCPS (2016-2017)

Undergraduate School: Gulf Coast State College in Panama City, FL

Pharmacy School: Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, FL

Post-Residency: Dr. Graham moved back to Panama City where she is a clinical pharmacist at HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital.

Post-Residency: Dr. Bondar stayed on at HCA Florida West Hospital before re-locating home to Georgia where she is a pharmacist at another HCA facility, Piedmont Eastside Medical Center.

Glenn Grantner, PharmD, BCPS (2015-2016)

Post-Residency: Dr. Grantner works as a clinical pharmacist at a local hospital in Pensacola where he precepts student pharmacists and residents.

Melissa Padgett, PharmD, BCPS, BCIDP (2014-2015)

Undergraduate School: Mars Hill University in Mars Hill, NC

Pharmacy School: Belmont University in Nashville, TN

Post-Residency: Dr. Padgett stayed on at HCA Florida West Hospital where she is now the PGY1 pharmacy residency program director.

Letha Huang, PharmD, BCPPS (2014-2015)

Undergraduate School: University of South Florida in Tampa, FL

Pharmacy School: University of Florida in Orlando, FL

Post-Residency: Dr. Huang completed a PGY2 in pediatrics at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, then worked as a pediatric cellular therapy and hematology/oncology pharmacist at Advent Health in Orlando, FL before becoming the PGY2 pediatric residency program director.

Post-Residency: Dr. Kretz moved back home to Ohio to assume the role of a clinical pharmacist at a community hospital.

Carmen Russell, PharmD, BCPS, AAHIVP (2012-2013)

Undergraduate School: University of Georgia in Athens, GA

Pharmacy School: University of Georgia

Post-Residency: Dr. Russell stayed on at HCA Florida West Hospital and has been heavily involved in precepting student pharmacists as well as residents. She transitioned into the leadership role of pharmacy operations manager in 2024.

Eleanor Bituin, PharmD, BCPS (2012-2013)

Undergraduate School: University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA

Pharmacy School: Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA

Post-Residency: Dr. Bituin stayed on at HCA Florida West Hospital for two years before re-locating to Alaska where she assumed the role of clinical pharmacist.

Shane Chordas, PharmD, BCPS (2011-2012)

Undergraduate School: College of Central Florida in Ocala, FL

Pharmacy School: University of Florida in Gainesville, FL

Post-Residency: Dr. Chordas stayed on as a clinical pharmacist at HCA Florida West Hospital for three years before advancing his career at a local hospital where he is now the director of pharmacy.

Deanna Fernandes, PharmD (2011-2012)

Post-Residency: Dr. Fernandes completed a one-year geriatric fellowship with the University of Miami and the Miami VA, then pursued a PGY2 residency in psychiatry at the VA in Gainesville, FL. She is currently working at the VA in Gainesville as an ambulatory care pharmacist with a focus on psychiatric care.
