Our non-nursing student orientation program is a multifaceted experience encompassing in-person integration, self-learning materials and departmental tours.
Self-learning packets
The following materials are to be completed and submitted to Staff Development prior to orientation and post-tests:
- Orientation self-learning packet (PDF - 1.0 MB)
- Orientation self-learning pre-test (PDF - 103 KB)
- Orientation self-learning pre-test answer sheet (PDF - 68.0 KB)
- HCA Code of Conduct self-study (PDF) - complete at school and submit attestation of completion
Name badge
Go to human resources to have your name badge made.
Tour assigned department
Once you have toured your assigned department, all students and preceptors must complete their department-specific orientation checklist and submit to Staff Development.
