In recognition of Stroke Awareness Month, HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital invites community members to attend an informative and engaging Stroke Education Class designed to help save lives through knowledge. Led by Lindsey Sarros, stroke coordinator, this class will cover the warning signs and symptoms of stroke, the importance of acting quickly, available treatment options, and the advanced stroke care capabilities at HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital.
Participants will learn how to recognize a stroke using proven tools like FAST, understand what happens during stroke treatment, and gain confidence knowing high‑quality stroke care is available close to home. This educational session is ideal for patients, caregivers, families, and anyone interested in protecting their brain health.
Light refreshments will be provided.
