“I had a heart condition all along without realizing it. Enlarged arteries; so enlarged that there wasn’t a stent large enough to place. We put it in the hands of the Lord and He allowed me to survive. I tell our friends and loved ones to be aware of your body. We have become more educated about the importance of alleviating stress, losing weight, and eating well. It’s about making simple choices in the way you eat and exercise, and about being consistent with your choices. My experience at Osceola Regional was incredible. Now I’m on the right meds and on the right path to recovery. I have to be on meds for the rest of my life, but I have a lot to look forward to. Family and health, that’s all that matters.”
