Max Gessner had been dealing with severe back and leg pain for quite some time, impacting his daily life and overall well-being. After exploring treatment options without finding lasting relief, Max was fortunate to discover Neurological Surgeon, Dr. Carrie Shulman and HCA Florida Largo Hospital.

Following an initial consultation and thorough testing, Dr. Shulman took the time to clearly explain the underlying issue and the recommended treatment plan. Her detailed and compassionate approach helped Max feel confident and informed every step of the way. He was scheduled for minimally invasive laminectomy surgery within two weeks.

“We found Dr. Shulman to be extremely knowledgeable and competent, and we knew right from the beginning we had made the right choice in coming to see her,” Max shared.

Today, Max is pain-free. The discomfort in his hip and leg has completely resolved, and he describes the procedure as a complete success.

“I am passionate about helping each patient improve their life and I'm proud to share that mission and focus with HCA Florida Largo Hospital" shared Dr. Carrie Shulman.

Max is deeply grateful for the expert care he received from Dr. Shulman and the entire team at HCA Florida Largo Hospital, who helped him regain his quality of life.
