Wellen Park Emergency leader nominated for empowered woman of the year

HCA Florida Healthcare is proud to announce that Danielle Redmon, manager of Emergency Care at HCA Florida Wellen Park Emergency, has been nominated for the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce 2025 Women Empowering Women recognition. This honor celebrates female leaders who uplift, inspire and advocate for others in their communities and workplaces.

In her role, Redmon leads a skilled team of nurses and clinical professionals who deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients during medical emergencies. Her leadership ensures that the freestanding emergency room provides timely, expert care to residents of Venice, North Port, Wellen Park and surrounding communities.

“I’m honored to be nominated alongside so many incredible women,” Redmon said. “Every day, I have the privilege of working with nurses — both men and women — at the bedside as we care for patients experiencing medical emergencies.
