Understanding lymphedema

Trinity, Fla. — HCA Florida Trinity Hospital is excited to bring timely health topics to our community, allowing participants to meet medical experts, during a lunch-and-learn format.
Lymphedema is an abnormal buildup of fluid in the arms or legs, most commonly occurring after cancer surgery or radiation.
Please join Kristine Algerre, certified lymphedema therapist, to learn tips on reducing your risk of developing lymphedema. She will also explain many of the treatment options for those who are living with the condition.
The presentation will be held at HCA Florida Trinity Hospital, 9330 State Road 54, Trinity, on Friday, September 22, 12:00pm - 1:00pm.
