Take your child to work day

Children of colleagues who work at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital got a chance to go work with their parents this week. Thursday, April 24^th is National Take Your Child to Work Day. The goal is to expose children to different career opportunities and help them learn what their parents do.

Children visited the emergency room, imaging department, therapy, and got a hands on lesson from operating room nurses, toured the hospital and had lunch with their parent in the hospital cafeteria. They also got to go inside and ambulance and fire truck from Sarasota County Emergency Services.
