St. Petersburg, FL — HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital and HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital are pleased to announce the appointment of Hunter Gullickson as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective June 7.
Gullickson brings 10 years of healthcare finance experience to the role, with a career dedicated to serving healthcare organizations throughout the Tampa Bay region. He joins HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital and HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital from HCA Florida Largo Hospital and HCA Florida Largo West Hospital, where he served as Assistant Chief Financial Officer beginning in 2024.
During his tenure at Largo Hospital, Gullickson played a key role in supporting strategic and operational initiatives, including the expansion of ICU capacity, recovery efforts following hurricane-related closures and significant improvements in both colleague and physician engagement. He has earned a reputation for his strong financial acumen, expertise in data analytics and collaborative leadership approach.
Prior to joining HCA Healthcare, Gullickson held progressively responsible positions in finance and revenue cycle operations at BayCare Health System’s corporate offices in Clearwater, Florida.
As CFO, Gullickson will serve as the hospitals’ Chief Staffing Officer and provide direct oversight for Case Management, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Patient Access, Health Information Management, Accounting and Dietary Services. He will also collaborate closely with HCA Healthcare’s Shared Services Center to support organizational goals and operational excellence.
