Rocky Ricapito begins as CNO for HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital and HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital
As CNO, Rocky Ricapito will oversee nursing services for both facilities.
St. Petersburg, FL — Today, HCA Florida St Petersburg Hospital and HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital welcomed Rocky Ricapito as the new Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) at both Pinellas County locations.
Ricapito brings over 20 years of experience as a patient care technician and nurse, beginning his career in telemetry, medical-surgical, orthopedic and cardiac units. Most recently he served as the CNO at HCA Florida South Shore Hospital, a 138-bed facility in Sun City Center, Florida.

Rocky earned his Associate in Nursing from Atlantic Cape Community College in Mays Landing, New Jersey, Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Master of Business Administration from Stockton University in Galloway, New Jersey. Rocky also serves as a Senior Chief Petty Officer in the United States Coast Guard Reserve, a rank achieved by only 2.5% of all enlisted members, with several years of combined active and reserve military service.
