New chief financial officer announced at HCA Florida Northside Hospital
HCA Florida Northside Hospital announces Luis Vazquez has been named chief financial officer (CFO), effective immediately.
Vazquez brings more than a decade of progressive financial leadership experience in healthcare to his new role. He most recently served as assistant CFO at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, a 424-bed tertiary care facility and Level I Trauma Center in Miami. He managed multiple departments there and helped drive growth and expanded care to the community.
“Luis brings an incredible energy that will resonate with our team and the community,” said Phil Marchesini, chief executive officer of Northside Hospital. “His financial expertise will position us to continue making strategic investments in care that directly benefit the Pinellas County community.”
Vazquez has also held financial leadership roles at Broward Health and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.
He holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus in Complex Health Systems from Nova Southeastern University, a Master of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management of Information Systems from Florida International University.
In his free time, Vazquez enjoys cheering on the Miami Dolphins, traveling and playing golf.
