New freestanding emergency room opens in Port Charlotte providing 24/7 access to emergency care

Port Charlotte, FL – HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital has announced the opening of a second freestanding emergency room serving patients in Port Charlotte, North Port and surrounding communities.  The new emergency center, HCA Florida Tamiami Trail Emergency, is located at 150 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, FL 33953. The 10,820 square- foot facility is a part of HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital and will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing full emergency services for adults and children, including laboratory, x-rays, CT scanning and ultrasound.
