JFK Hospital has announced the appointment of Megan S. Powe as its new Chief Operating Officer, effective January 5, 2026.

HCA Florida JFK Hospital is proud to announce the appointment of Megan S. Powe as chief operating officer, effective January 5, 2026. Megan brings more than a decade of diverse healthcare leadership experience, with a proven record of strengthening hospital operations, elevating performance, and advancing high‑quality patient care across multiple health systems.

Megan most recently served as chief operating officer for Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a 432‑bed acute care facility. There, she led operational improvements across several service areas and guided key initiatives that enhanced surgical services, strengthened workforce productivity, expanded graduate medical education programs, and supported clinical quality enhancements. Her leadership has consistently focused on optimizing processes, fostering collaboration, and driving sustainable organizational success.

Prior to her time with Ascension, she held multiple senior leadership roles within Tenet Healthcare, including hospital COO, market chief strategy officer, and chief strategy officer. Across these positions, she led strategic growth efforts, oversaw major capital investments, cultivated strong physician partnerships, and advanced service line development in specialties such as neurosciences, cardiovascular care, orthopedics, and women’s services. She played a central role in operational readiness, accreditation achievements, and service expansions that strengthened performance across multiple hospitals.

Megan holds a master of science in health care administration from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, and a bachelor of science in business administration with concentrations in management and marketing from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama. She is also actively involved in various professional and community organizations, reflecting her commitment to leadership development and service.
