Learn about heart failure symptoms to protect your heart during a free educational seminar on the campus of HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital on March 4, 2026
HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital invites the community to “Protect your heart: heart failure diagnosis and treatment,” an interactive educational session to learn about heart failure diagnosis and treatment options.
The session, presented by board-certified interventional cardiologist Michael D. Moore, DO will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 from 2:30 – 3:30 pm. Dr. Moore will answer questions from the audience following the presentation.
Approximately 6.7 million Americans over 20 years of age have heart failure, according to the Heart Failure Society of America. The lifetime risk of heart failure is 24%, or simply said: 1 in 4 Americans will develop heart failure in their lifetime.
Dr. Moore hopes to bring awareness about the prevention, diagnosis and management of the disease. Early stage hear failure may have subtle or no symptoms, which makes it particularly important for people of all ages to routinely see their doctor.
“Heart failure is a progressive disease, so the earlier it is identified the better able we are to manage its progression and symptoms,” said Dr. Moore, interventional cardiologist and Medical Director, Oak Hill Hospital Heart Failure Program. “Our goal in treatment is to provide the best options for people with heart failure to lead a full, enjoyable life.”
The community talk will take place from 2:30 – 3:30 pm. Wednesday, March 4, 2026 on the campus of HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital – GME conference room, 11307 Cortez Blvd, Brooksville. RSVP by calling 844-630-5295, or visit our “Classes and Events” tab to register online.
