HCA Florida Healthcare Hospitals collect more Than 500 pounds of food donations to support the Kind Mouse in Pinellas county
St. Petersburg, FL — HCA Florida Largo Hospital, St. Petersburg Hospital and Pasadena Hospital are proud to announce its successful participation in the Healthier Tomorrows Food Drive, contributing 517 pounds of food to support The Kind Mouse, a local nonprofit dedicated to feeding children and families experiencing food insecurity. The Kind Mouse serves more than 83,000 hungry tummies each year throughout Pinellas County, providing essential nourishment and hope to those who need it most.
This year’s collection effort brought together physicians, nurses, support teams, and hospital leaders, all united behind a shared commitment to community support during the holiday season.
“We are so proud of our teams for coming together to support The Kind Mouse and the families they serve,” said Alyssa Clementi, director of communications and community engagement at HCA Florida St. Petersburg and Pasadena Hospitals. “This food drive is a wonderful example of how our hospitals extend care beyond our walls. Every donation reflects our commitment to making a positive impact in the community we call home.”
The Healthier Tomorrows Food Drive is part of HCA Healthcare’s ongoing effort to address food insecurity across the communities it serves. By partnering with trusted local organizations like The Kind Mouse, HCA Florida Healthcare continues its mission to improve the health and well-being of residents beyond hospital walls.
