HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital welcomes assistant chief nursing officer

HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital recently announced the appointment of Nicole Carr, DNP, MSN, RN, to assistant chief nursing officer.  Carr will help support and lead clinical areas and initiatives in conjunction with the Chief Nursing Officer Kristy Desfosses. 

Nicole has more than 13 years of clinical and nursing leadership experience, including driving effective strategies that focused on enhancing nursing practice, care experience, retention and recruitment efforts, and improving patient outcomes. She most recently served as vice president of nursing operations at HCA Midwest Health in Overland Park, Kansas, where she was instrumental in project management, improved quality outcomes and supporting the growth and development of clinical leaders.  

Carr holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona.
