HCA Florida Kendall Hospital welcomes Dr. Michael Fromke, expanding neurosurgical program
Miami, FL — HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, a 424-bed facility and part of HCA Florida Healthcare, the largest healthcare system in the state, is pleased to announce the addition of neurosurgeon, Dr. Michael Fromke. In his role, Dr. Fromke will enhance the hospital’s growing neurosurgical program, bringing advanced expertise in minimally invasive spine and cranial procedures.
Dr. Fromke is a board-certified neurosurgeon with fellowship training in complex spine surgery. He specializes in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted techniques for treating a wide range of neurological conditions, including spinal instability, stroke, trauma, and tumors. Recognized as a leader in the field, Dr. Fromke has pioneered the use of robotics and navigation technology to improve outcomes, including a groundbreaking minimally invasive approach to evacuate cerebral hemorrhages in stroke patients, significantly reducing recovery times.

Dr. Fromke completed his medical training and residency in neurological surgery at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, with The Semmes-Murphy Clinic. He is board-certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
