Andres O'Daly, MD, announced as medical director of orthopedics at HCA Florida Blake Hospital

Orthopedic surgeon Andres O'Daly, MD, is the new medical director of orthopedics at HCA Florida Blake Hospital, where he will lead the award-winning program recognized by Healthgrades as one of America's 100 Best Hospitals for Orthopedic Surgery.

HCA Florida Blake Hospital is pleased to announce Andres O’Daly, MD, as the new medical director of orthopedics, effective January 26, 2026.

Dr. O’Daly is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who brings extensive clinical experience and a strong commitment to high-quality, patient-centered orthopedic care. In his new role, Dr. O’Daly will provide physician leadership for the hospital’s orthopedic program, supporting clinical excellence, quality outcomes and continued program growth.

HCA Florida Blake Hospital is home to a thriving orthopedic program that has earned national recognition for quality and outcomes. Blake has been named one of Healthgrades America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Orthopedic Surgery for seven years in a row (2020–2026) and one of Healthgrades America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Joint Replacement for six years in a row (2021–2026). In 2026, the hospital was also Named Among the Top 5% in the Nation for Overall Orthopedic Services, reflecting the strength of its multidisciplinary orthopedic team and commitment to exceptional patient care.

Dr. O’Daly succeeds David Cashen, MD, who served as medical director of orthopedics from 2022-2025. During his tenure, Dr. Cashen played a key role in advancing orthopedic services at HCA Florida Blake Hospital and strengthening collaboration across surgical, nursing and rehabilitation teams.
