Tampa Bay/Hudson, FL — Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point announces that it has received certification from DNV - GL Healthcare as a Comprehensive Stroke Center, reflecting the highest level of competence for treatment of serious stroke events.

“Stroke care demand a highly sophisticated and coordinated team of high-caliber physicians and clinicians focused on providing rapid, coordinated stroke intervention,” said Gina Temple, CEO. “This certification from DNV validates that we deliver the highest quality of care to the most complex cases as reflected in our patient outcomes.”

The DNV Comprehensive Stroke Center Certification is based on standards set forth by the Brain Attack Coalition and the American Stroke Association, and affirms that the medical center addresses the full spectrum of stroke care – diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and education – and establishes clear metrics to evaluate outcomes.

“Achieving certification shows commitment to excellence,” says Patrick Horine, CEO of DNV. “And it helps demonstrate to your community that you are performing at the highest level.”
