About Peter D Candelora, MD
Biography
Dr. Candelora is originally from the Philadelphia area. He obtained his concurrent Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Science degree in Biology from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA. Dr. Candelora obtained his medical degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA, where he also completed his orthopaedic residency. He received specialty training in rehabilitation and spine surgery in Los Angeles, CA, at the UCLA affiliated Rancho Los Amigos Hospital.

Care Philosophy
Dr. Candelora founded the orthopaedic practice in 1991. He has developed special interests in total joint arthroplasty including the new minimally invasive total hip and knee replacements, reconstructive surgery, and the treatment of various shoulder and knee disorders. With the ongoing and rapid advancement of orthopaedic technology, our goal is to stay in the forefront of proven and accepted surgical innovations.
