In the practice of medicine I believe that both the patient and medical staff are a member of one big team. All treatments and decisions are to be made as a team. All medical decisions are very personal. I believe in taking the time to make sure all of those decisions are the proper decisions for the individual. In advising patients, I would think of how I would advise them if they were a family member.
