For nearly 50 years, HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital (formerly University Hospital and Medical Center), a 271-bed full service acute care facility, has provided comprehensive care to South Florida residents. Located in the heart of Broward County, Woodmont Hospital has been recognized for its breakthroughs in orthopedic care, robotics and general surgery as well as for its world-class patient-centered care, accreditations and certifications and latest technology offerings.

Conveniently located minutes from I-95, the Sawgrass Expressway and the Florida Turnpike, the hospital offers 24-hour comprehensive medical, surgical and diagnostic services. Additionally, the hospital's 24-hour emergency room provides specialized hospital services for adults and children of all ages.

Woodmont Hospital holds several Healthgrades™ Five-Star Awards for services such as Total Hip Replacement, Total Hip Replacement, Treatment of Stroke, Gallbladder Removal Surgery and Appendectomy Surgery and was recently named among the top 5% of hospitals in the nation recognized for patient safety.
