At the age of 79, Marie Giannini experienced a fall at home when she accidentally tripped over her husband’s oxygen cord. She was immediately rushed to Orange Park Hospital where it was discovered that she had a hip fracture. Following hip surgery, Marie needed assistance dressing, bathing and walking, and was faced with the decision of where to go for inpatient rehabilitation care.

Marie’s husband was a previous patient at Orange Park Hospital’s Inpatient Rehabilitation Center and she knew that was where she needed to be. 13 days later, she needed no assistance at all. She was excited to get back home and could not wait to make a cup of her own coffee.

"I loved my stay here. Everyone was amazing! Physical Therapist Randy was so kind and pushed me to do my best. I don’t ever want to have to return to rehab but if I do, I would absolutely come here. I highly recommend it!" – Marie
