HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital offers a variety of volunteer positions for those who want to help the hospital and improve the comfort of our patients.

Volunteering at our hospital

Our volunteers have a passion for giving of themselves to support their community. The hospital’s volunteer program was founded in 1974 and is comprised of charity-minded men and women that have donated countless hours of service to the hospital.

Opportunities to serve

There are many areas you can participate in service at our hospital including but limited to:

  • Surgery Department
  • Emergency Room
  • Information Desk
  • Gift Shop
  • Golf Cart Drivers to Provide Parking Lot Transportation
  • Guest Services
  • Inpatient Nursing Units
  • Pastoral Care
  • Rehabilitation Centers

Social activities include a volunteer appreciation event in the spring and a holiday celebration in the fall.

Membership

To become a volunteer, complete the below application form. Upon completion, you will be contacted by a member of our volunteer program with more information. All volunteers attend the Orange Park Hospital orientation

Volunteer Criteria

  • The ability to donate a minimum of four hours of active duty each week
  • The ability to commit to at least one year of service minimum
  • Age 18 and above
