Patient Heather Twedt gives a thumbs-up with hospital staff.

After an unfortunate car accident, Heather Twedt was brought by helicopter to Orange Park Hospital where she spent ten days in the hospital. Heather suffered from fractures in her arms and legs, a pelvic fracture and a concussion. She spent 3 days on a ventilator.

After undergoing multiple surgeries, she graduated to Orange Park Hospital’s Inpatient Rehabilitation Center where she spent a week and a half. While in the hospital and rehab, Heather longed to be back home with her family and the ability to do more for herself. On August 3rd, she headed home to her family and was able to perform most of her daily functions with minimal assistance.

“Adam, Randy, Remick, Nikki, Berekia, Jessica and Dr. Aleger were awesome!” - Heather
