Shyam Swain, MD graduated from M K C G medical college India in 1973. He completed his residency in General Surgery at P G I- Chandigarh in 1981. He joined Coal India as Surgeon in 1981 and was chief of surgery from 1984-1992. He completed Residency in Anesthesia and a mini fellowship in pain management in 1996 at Montefiore Medical Center/ Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York.
