University Hospital and Medical Center announces $16 million in construction upgrades

University Hospital is adding a new inpatient rehabilitation unit set to open in May 2022.

Community leaders came together on June 22 to celebrate the announcement and participate in a tour of an inpatient rehabilitation unit, a $16M investment, at University Hospital and Medical Center. The new unit, which includes a therapy gym, a state-of-the-art gastrointestinal laboratory (GI lab) and 25 private patient rooms is set to open in May 2022.
