HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital announces 24/7 midwifery care

St. Petersburg, FL — HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital is proud to announce that effective September 1, Midwifery services are available around the clock. This enhances maternity care for patients seeking these services by ensuring that a certified midwife is onsite 24/7.

Through a collaboration with credentialed midwives, the hospital will offer a midwifery model of care to expectant mothers. In addition to being present for labor, the midwives can offer support services — including prenatal care, delivery, postpartum support, routine gynecological care and family planning.
