Leadership team recognizes nurse and PCT for making an impact
Nurse and PCT Honored with Daisy Award and Sunflower Award by Patient
The leadership team at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital is pleased to recognize Edlaure Barbosa, RN as the recent DAISY Award Winner and Frenchie Shuler, PCT as the latest Sunflower Award Winner. Recently a patient, who both cared for, returned to the 4th floor thank them. Edlaure was recognized for being professional, kind and efficient. Frenchie was recognized for being efficient, encouraging and her positive, sunny disposition.
The patient said both caregivers made her feel safe and respected.
The patient also praised them for their attention to infection prevention, washing their hands and cleanliness.
