Englewood, FL – HCA Florida Englewood Hospital is pleased to announce the next health topic in its Wellness Education Series, “Relief from Back or Neck Pain”.
In a recent National Health Interview survey from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, back pain was reported in 39% of adults. It is one of the most common reasons people seek medical help or miss work. Fortunately, there are steps you can take to improve your health, lower your chance of developing chronic or long-lasting back pain and relieve symptoms that you may be experiencing.
Reserve your spot for an informative health talk with spine specialist Arash Farahvar, M.D. who will discuss the symptoms, causes and treatments for chronic back and neck pain. The event will be held on Tuesday, January 17 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Suncoast Auditorium on the campus of Englewood Hospital, 779 Medical Drive, Englewood.
A free lunch will be served.
Monthly, the hospital hosts a series of free health talks designed to encourage healthy lifestyle choices and provide education on topics, including heart health, relief for knee and hip pain, men’s health, women’s health, digestive health and lung cancer prevention.
