HCA Florida Brandon Hospital welcomed a baby boy, born a minute after the clock struck midnight and identical twins on New Year’s Day, an exciting start to 2024.

Before the confetti could fall to the ground on New Year’s Eve at 12:01 a.m., Dominic was born at 10 pounds and 15 ounces and 22 inches long. Proud parents Kristyn and Eusebio Quinones have the first child to be born in the Tampa Bay area and possibly the state of Florida.

Later on New Year’s Day, identical twin boys were born. Jayden arrived at 11:20 a.m. and Jru followed at 11:34 a.m. They were 4 pounds and 11.8 ounces and 5 pounds 13.1 ounces, respectively and both boys were 19 inches long. Kelsi and Jaylen Pung’s New Year’s resolution may involve finding creative ways to keep the names of their sweet baby boys straight.
