HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is part of the HCA Healthcare Research Institute, and our colleagues are working to contribute their knowledge and expertise to advancing real-world solutions to critical healthcare needs for our community and beyond. Our researchers focus on improving cardiovascular health and neuroscience care. The HCA Healthcare Research Institute is the multispecialty clinical research arm of HCA Healthcare, currently conducting nearly 500 scientific trials at 50 sites across America. HCA Florida Ocala Hospital joined the HCA Healthcare Research Institute network in August 2025, becoming its first site in North Central Florida.
