More about wound care
We offer an outpatient program focused on treating chronic, nonhealing wounds. Patients range in age from adolescent to geriatric. In all cases, we are focused on treating wounds as early as possible.
Benefits of wound treatment
Wound care involves medical intervention to heal a wound, typically after an injury. Specialized treatment is provided for wounds that are nonhealing or refuse to heal on their own. To promote healing, learning how to properly dress and care for wounds is vital. Benefits of our approach include:
- Improved healing rates
- Infection prevention
- Maintaining skin integrity
- Reduced amputations
- Reduced disability
